WELCOME TO THE NEW WINTER WONDERLAND

Twinkling lights. Seasonal music. The spice of apple cider mingling with tropical breezes. The time can only be the holidays, and the place can only be McKee.

McKee Botanical Garden will host its popular “Holidays at McKee” this year from 6-8 p.m. on December 18, 19, 20 and 21. Highlights include a large-scale model train and miniature Christmas village, a chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive treats from the Garden Café, and hundreds of unique gifts in the Garden Gift Shop, where members receive 10% off all purchases.

“This really is one of our favorite times of year,” says Executive Director Christine Hobart. “McKee has become a tradition for generations of residents, and it’s wonderful to see them gather here for the holidays.”

In addition to the usual seasonal attractions, visitors will be treated to the 30 life-sized dinosaurs in “Return of the Dinosaur Invasion,” lit for the occasion. Dinosaur souvenirs also are available in the Gift Shop.

“Dinosaurs and the holidays may seem like an odd pair, but it’s really perfect for those with grandchildren or family in town,” adds Hobart. “It’s all the magic of the season, paired with a one-of-a-kind experience they’ll never forget.”

“Holidays at McKee” is sponsored by the “AT&T Real Yellow Pages.” Regular admission fees apply.
