EIGHTH ANNUAL WATERLILY CELEBRATION TO BLOOM AT
MCKEE BOTANICAL GARDEN

For the eighth consecutive year, McKee Botanical Garden’s ponds and waterways will be taken over by hundreds of vibrant blooms during its annual Waterlily Celebration on June 16.
“McKee has one of the nation’s largest outdoor collections of waterlilies, and this is the time of year they really put on a show,” explained McKee Executive Director Christine Hobart.
Several scheduled activities will take place throughout the morning including:
9:00 & 10:30 am Waterlily repotting demonstration
9:00 - Noon Waterlily photo contest and voting
9:00 - 2:00 pm Aquatic and tropical plant sale - plus spices and vintage garden accents
Vendors include Aquatic Systems & Resources, Inc.; D’Asign Source
Botanicals; Up Come the Flowers; and Herb and Spice Scentsations
9:30 am Waterlily photography class with Pat Rice of the Indian River Photo Club
10:00 am Painting demonstration with local artists
