Hans Godo
Fräbel is one of the world's most famous flamework glass
artists.
He is inspired by nature and the
world around him.
Fräbel's art pieces can be found in public and private
collections in over 80 countries worldwide. Museums that have
hosted Fräbel art include the Smithsonian Institution,
Metropolitan Museum of Art, Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Victoria
& Albert Museum, and the Eibu Museum of Art to name a few.
The Fräbel Glass Art Studio www.Fräbel.com was founded in 1968
by Hans Godo Fräbel and is widely considered to be the first
glass art studio completely focused on creating glass art
sculptures out of boron crystal. Several of the world's most
outstanding contemporary glass artists have brought their
talents to the Fräbel Studio in Atlanta. The glass crystal
sculptures of this internationally famous studio are today in
the hands of many museums, private collectors and corporations
worldwide. |

| Inspired by the art of glass flameworking and
the beauty and diversity of the works of artist Hans Godo Fräbel,
McKee Botanical Garden and The Orchid Ball present Fire & Ice.
Approximately 300 guests at Fire and Ice are invited to tour the
Garden and view Fräbel's Reflections of Glass on Water exhibit.
Showcasing the fusion of art and nature, the 170 glass
sculptures will be creatively displayed with the Garden's lush
tropical vegetation and picturesque ponds as the backdrop. The
elements of fire and ice will be incorporated into all aspects
of the Fire and Ice. |
