Hans Godo Fräbel is one of the world's most famous flamework glass artists.
He is inspired by nature and the world around him. Fräbel's art pieces can be found in public and private collections in over 80 countries worldwide. Museums that have hosted Fräbel art include the Smithsonian Institution, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Eibu Museum of Art to name a few.

The Fräbel Glass Art Studio www.Fräbel.com was founded in 1968 by Hans Godo Fräbel and is widely considered to be the first glass art studio completely focused on creating glass art sculptures out of boron crystal. Several of the world's most outstanding contemporary glass artists have brought their talents to the Fräbel Studio in Atlanta. The glass crystal sculptures of this internationally famous studio are today in the hands of many museums, private collectors and corporations worldwide.
Inspired by the art of glass flameworking and the beauty and diversity of the works of artist Hans Godo Fräbel, McKee Botanical Garden and The Orchid Ball present Fire & Ice. Approximately 300 guests at Fire and Ice are invited to tour the Garden and view Fräbel's Reflections of Glass on Water exhibit. Showcasing the fusion of art and nature, the 170 glass sculptures will be creatively displayed with the Garden's lush tropical vegetation and picturesque ponds as the backdrop. The elements of fire and ice will be incorporated into all aspects of the Fire and Ice.
