CHELSEA'S AT THE GARDEN CAFEEnjoy a delicious lunch during your visit to McKee! The Garden Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday, noon to 3:00 pm. Please note, you do not have to pay Garden admission if you are just visiting the cafe.
ANNUAL WATERLILY CELEBRATIONOn Saturday, June 17, McKee Botanical Garden will host its 13th Annual Waterlily Celebration from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. The state’s largest collection of waterlilies adorn the waterways and ponds of McKee. See a spectacular display of lotus and waterlilies in full bloom!
CAMP MCKEERegistration is now open for Camp McKee. Camp offers children ages 5-9 a week-long adventure filled with activities that will bring them closer to nature. Camp McKee will take place over two weekly sessions: July 10-14 and July 17-21.
'THE ROYALS' BY PATRICK DOUGHERTY For three weeks Patrick and his dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly bending, lifting, climbing scaffolding, weaving, trimming, and shaping the willow branches despite numerous days of inclement weather. On January 24, 2016 the masterpiece was completed and will remain on-site at McKee until nature and time cause it to breakdown.
GARDEN DISCOVERY BACKPACKS For children ages 3-12, McKee's Garden Discovery Backpacks are perfect for charting your own Garden adventure! Each backpack contains an educational guide and a variety of tools for exploration. Choose from five themes: Garden Explorer, Things with Wings, It's a Bug's World, Plantastic and Survival: Lost in the Jungle. Please note - the backpacks are NOT available during exhibits or during peak periods, including the weekends.
